Scenes

Yesterday we went to a Mennonite auction near Pailon. Getting to Pailon requires crossing this bridge -- which can add as much as six hours to a trip, depending mainly on whether impatient drivers clog up the path onto or off the bridge. Our wait yesterday was about an hour.

Loading up the bus for another trip to Charagua last week.

Main street, Charagua Station, Bolivia.

This is what we call "home" these days, across from the MCC complex in Santa Cruz. Not only the bananas are abundant; mangos keep dropping from the sky like hail.
