Last week our MCC colleagues in Santa Cruz held a baby shower for Jonathan, complete with amazing food, nice gifts of clothing (see the trendy little outfit above), and some rather funny games. Ramont had to compete with the other new dad to most quickly--and with the most love--put a cloth diaper on a stuffed baby/animal. He also got painted with lipstick each time Liz (blindfolded) guessed wrongly on what the wrapped gift might be.
Posted in our Picasso web album are some new photos of that event and others of Jonathan, who is now almost six weeks old. He's quite the content little boy, though not without the occasional night where he just doesn't want to close his eyes or let us sleep--not crying, just very awake. We realize how fortunate we are!
