Here are a few photos from Charagua, where we spent the first three weeks of July. In short, it was first extremely hot and then unbelievably cold. Here we are in front of our MCC center, and below Jonathan and Liz read the paper inside.

It is dry in the Chaco. We planted a garden and are irrigating it; here Ramont gives some water to the fruit trees on our yard. And the diapers, well, they´re about the only wet thing around.

Believe it or not, we had snow! These are the mountains just west of Charagua, as seen from the cheese factory in the colony of Kansas (Pinondi).

It was a constant struggle to keep Jonathan warm during the cold spell. Here he took a relatively cozy nap (we hope) in the kitchen, while bread baked in the oven.
