Ten months

Jonathan turned ten months old on 9. January. He is ever the busy, curious, exploring, full-emotioned little guy. As you can see above, almost everything still needs to be tasted before he can be sure of it. He still has just one tooth, but eats anything we offer him (almost everything that we eat). He gets around quickly by crawling, and stands without support for several seconds at a time. For some reason, this usually happens when he's playing in his bathtub outside. He jabbers, sings, coos, wails, and laughs whole-heartedly. Life is quite the adventure for him (and us as parents).

We were actually in Durango Colony on the 9th. When we arrived at our friends' home, the girls whisked him into the house (as usual). They returned him about ten minutes later....looking just like a little Jahontje! Mrs. Doerksen had made him a complete overalls/shirt outfit for Christmas. Quite special.

Here he is with his friends Margaretha and Peter.

And here is our fearless little driver, navigating the Chaco.
