ALL together

For the first time in, well, ever, the Gordon and Eva Harder family was altogether in one place - all in Kansas this past weekend.

There are now eight grandchildren, as you can see.

And here are the oldies.

Willmar and Hannah moved to Buhler a couple weeks ago, and our family stayed with them in this sweet rental house. The folks stayed with David and Rachel in Hutchinson. What follow are some random snapshots of the weekend.

Drew took quite a liking to Oma. The twins are now about 19 months old.

Anna, pondering the meaning of life.

That's the look Rachel usually has when Willmar tells a story, so I'm not sure who's getting it this time...

The old men try to relive the glory days of yore with a football.

Perfect summer supper of roll kuchen and watermelon.

This is Willmar's new workplace; he is pastor at Buhler Mennonite Church right in town. We got to see him in action on Sunday morning - only his second week there.

Ready for church...?

Showing off the captured snake to the neighborhood kids.

Waiting for Willmar to come home for Sunday dinner.

It was a tiring weekend (all that kid energy!), but oh so good.
