
On Anna's fourth day of life, the Bolivian MCC women hosted us for a meal of
locro, which is a savory chicken soup. The point was not just to feed us some good food (though it was that). Locro is evidently essential for getting the mama milk flowing. And did it ever.

Here Juana Masavi holds Anna. Juana has been Jonathan's main
abuela while we've lived in Santa Cruz, and will likely be the same for Anna.
