Merry Christmas!

We've had a wonderful holiday season so far: Christmas Eve service at Bethel Church followed by opening gifts at our home with Oma and Opa and brother David's family, Christmas Day hymn sing at our church followed by meal and visiting with (Great) Grandparents and my aunt and uncles, and then the final worship service at our church (see here for excellent photos, as well as a short TV news clip here).

And this morning we're heading out to Ohio for the Schrock Christmas gathering. Normally we'd be very excited about the short (14 hour) trip, but it snowed rather a lot during the night - and still is - and so there's a bit of worry about how the roads will be. Ramont is blowing open our and our neighbor's yard as I write this, the kids are outside getting all wet and cold, I've got the car packed and the mate water hot, and so hopefully in another hour or so we'll be on our way!
